Job summary

Visionworks in Flagstaff, AZ is hiring a part-time Optometric Assistant who will be the face of our exam practice, guiding patients through preliminary testing, eye health information, and product recommendations. The role emphasizes a friendly, human, and bold approach to the patient journey.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, introducing patients to the OD, transitioning to sales floor, restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to support the exam lane and patient

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $18.35- $18.47 per hour.

The Role:

A Visionworks Optometric Assistant is the very face of our Exam Practice and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This person is trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services and managed vision care. The CS personally takes the patient through the first steps of the Visionworks experience ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.
