Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will guide patients through the first steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly, human, and bold way.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, introducing patients to the OD, and supporting the transition from doctor to sales floor while educating on products and services.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn eye health basics and preliminary testing.

$12.82 - $17.29 per hour.

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the very face of our Exam Practice and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This person is trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services and managed vision care. The CS personally takes the patient through the first steps of the Visionworks experience ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

Compensation range for the roles is above. Applicable salary rangers may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions.
