Pay Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $14.70 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met professionally and warmly.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share important information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary details to recommend suitable products and services
• Support daily operations such as restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related experience is a plus
