Job summary

Visionworks Store 1335 in Mesa, AZ seeks a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You’ll guide patients through the first steps of their Visionworks experience with eye health knowledge and strong hospitality.

Responsibilities include collecting records, introducing patients to the OD, and facilitating transitions from exam to sales while supporting store operations and patient care every day.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

The Role:

A VisionworksClinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistantis the very face of our Exam Practice and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This person is trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services and managed vision care. The CS personally takes the patient through the first steps of the Visionworks experience ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.
