General Atomics in Acton, MA is looking for a full-time technician to support the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of complex laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree and five years of relevant experience.
You will be tasked with performing tests, collecting data, and ensuring operational integrity while working in a clean room environment. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,670 – $90,198, depending on experience.
General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) designs and manufactures first-of-a-kind electromagnetic and electric power generation systems. GA-EMS’s expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet, space systems, satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide.
Perform and/or assist in the fabrication, modification, assembly, installation, operation, repair and maintenance of complex laboratory, experimental, and commercial equipment. May assist in the design of basic lab, experimental, and commercial equipment. Apply specialized knowledge and skills pertinent to the organization, project or program assigned. Set up and perform complex experiments and tests. Record, reduce, and summarize data.
