Job summary

Modea is seeking a talented Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to design, implement, test, and deliver features for enterprise-scale CMS projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, PMs, strategists, and analysts to build consumer-grade experiences.

The role emphasizes hands-on Optimizely work, AI-assisted development, and leadership in engineering decisions.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Must have hands-on implementation experience with Optimizely.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Curious mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Consultant mentality in approach to solving problems.
Client-facing experience preferred.
Team player with collaborative attitude.
Commitment to continuous improvement and quality software.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and deliver features for enterprise-scale CMS.
Work with cross-functional teams including designers, PMs, strategists, and analysts.
Lead engineering efforts, set technical direction, and support peers.
Develop with CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore, or Optimizely (headless a plus).
Contribute to frontend work (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, GraphQL, Next.js).
Engage in DevOps across environments and tools (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, MS DevOps).
Advocate and apply software engineering best practices.
