Job summary

NetJets is seeking a Software Engineer - Operations Researcher to design and deploy optimization models for airline operations and logistics. You will work with mixed-integer linear programming, Python, and solvers like Gurobi to deliver production-ready solutions that drive efficiency and better decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in software/ops research
• Master's or PhD in Operations Research or related field is a plus
• Strong programming and optimization skills including MILP

Responsibilities

• Implement mixed-integer linear programming
• Write production-level code and integrate models with existing systems
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Use optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX) to handle large-scale problems
• Validate models and ensure alignment with business objectives
