TechDigital Group is seeking an hands-on optimization scientist to translate real-world rules into linear constraints and ship MIP models into production.

You will work with Java engineers and planners to ensure correctness, deployability, and scalable performance. The role requires strong coding discipline, collaboration, and a willingness to use AI coding agents for rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• MIP modeling with real‑world rules translated into constraints and objectives.
• Commercial solver experience with FICO Xpress preferred; tuning and reading logs.
• Programming to implement models and visualize results in Java and Python.

Responsibilities

• Work on the MIP model and complex work rules for task assignment.
• Formulate and maintain the MIP; translate business rules into formulation.
• Drive the model via the FICO Xpress Java API; inspect .lp files and logs.
• Tune solver performance: mip-gap, threads, seeds; ensure determinism.
• Build and maintain a Streamlit dashboard to visualize optimizer outputs.
• Collaborate with Java engineers and planners to productionize the model.
• Analyze Azure ADLS data to debug models and surface insights.
