Job summary

Dontech is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our production team in Doylestown, PA. This role offers either first shift (Mon-Fri) or second shift (Mon-Thu) with potential training for candidates new to inspection.

The position supports inspection of glass and polycarbonate parts, ensuring quality before shipping in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. We value hands-on, detail-oriented individuals who can read English work orders, follow instructions, and learn cross-training.

Qualifications

• High School/Technical School/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Previous quality/inspection experience; optics experience preferred.
• MIL-PRF-13830 inspection experience preferred.
• Military/medical electronics manufacturing background preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Experience handling and inspecting glass parts preferred.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Familiarity with chemicals used in cleaning parts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read/understand English work orders/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed visual inspection of materials, parts in process, and finished parts.
• Inspect parts and materials for flaws and dimensions using eyepiece and scope.
• Support final inspection prior to shipping.
• Follow work instructions and complete manufacturing tasks.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
• Review specifications for preparation of product for customer.
• Inspect first articles submitted to Quality for accuracy.
• Inspect finished jobs submitted to Quality.
• Use internal product routing/traveler system.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
