Job summary

Exowatt in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing/NPI Engineer focused on optics to scale precision optical components from prototype to high‑volume production. You will own manufacturing readiness for lenses, mirrors, coatings, and concentrator assemblies.

You will collaborate with design engineers, suppliers, and production teams to hit quality, cost, and ramp targets, ensuring manufacturability and robust supply for the P3 system.

Qualifications

• Experience bringing optics components from prototype to high-volume production.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design engineers, suppliers, and production teams.
• Relocation to Austin, TX and willingness to travel domestically/internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing readiness for optics components (lenses, mirrors, coatings, concentrator assemblies).
• Collaborate with design engineers, suppliers and production teams to meet quality, cost and ramp targets.
• Support scalable manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
