Qualifications

Advanced print reading skills to comprehend fabrication specs.
Measurement skills include Zygo, fringe pattern, microscope, stereoscope, and surface inspection.

Responsibilities

Performs basic shaping process steps on medium difficult parts.
Beveling – fabricates polished, double, and off-angle asymmetric bevels.
Blocking – pitch button, Norland transfer, steep singles, cold blocking, alignment.
Grinding – steep radius, cylinder, tight wedge, continuous.
Polishing – spindle, CP, double side, CNC polish.
Slurry maintenance – maintains and measures Baume and pH levels.
Pour pitch lap, cuts, and grooves lap.
Advanced print reading and adjustment to fabrication specs.
