Job summary

PDS Optical is seeking an experienced optician to join our team in El Paso, TX (VA location). Provide friendly, professional service to Veterans, assist with eyewear selection, fittings, adjustments, and ensure customer satisfaction.

This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and employee discounts. ABO certification is preferred or required within two years.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of optician experience.
• ABO Certification preferred or must be attained within two years.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
• Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
