Job summary

Eyeglass World is seeking an Optical Specialist to join our in-store team. You will assist customers with eyewear selection, fit, and pickup, delivering confident service and high-quality eye care in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll support pre-exam activities, finalize orders, and maintain brand standards while ensuring a seamless, elevated experience. A high school diploma and 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service are required, with bilingual abilities

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills.
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff.
