Marion Eye Centers in Marion, IL seeks a friendly Optician to help patients select eyewear that fits prescription, lifestyle, and personal style. You will measure PD and other optical metrics, and guide choices on lenses, coatings, and frames.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous optical experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and assist them in selecting frames and lenses that meet vision and lifestyle needs.
• Accurately measure pupillary distance (PD), segment height, and other optical measurements.
• Educate patients on lens options, premium lens technologies, coatings, and frame materials.
• Recommend products that fit each patient's visual needs, lifestyle, and budget.
• Adjust, repair, and fit eyewear for comfort and proper alignment.
• Process eyewear orders and verify prescription accuracy.
• Maintain attractive frame displays and manage optical inventory.
• Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver outstanding patient care.
