Job summary

SeekWell, the parent company of 1-800 Contacts, invites you to join our state-of-the-art optical lab in Salt Lake City. As an Optical Lab Technician you’ll calibrate equipment, ensure high-quality eyewear, and help keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be trained across key lab areas and may rotate through surface, AR, and finishing roles. We value precision, hustle, and teamwork, with starting wage at $18.50 per hour and shifts from 2 PM–12 AM or 7 AM–7 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED equivalent).
• Experience working in an optical setting.
• Intermediate computer skills including Windows OS, Excel, Word, and Rx Universe.
• Additional specialized skills in Trail Mix, Quoka, and other in-house software may be required in specific customer interface roles.

Responsibilities

• Effectively identify and address work flow and quality issues.
• Following standard operating procedures.

The details

• This role is located at theSLC Lab( 2595 Custer Road SLC, UT 84104)
• Shifts:
• Monday-Thursday; 2PM to 12AM.
• Friday-Sunday; 7AM to 7PM
• Starting Wage: $18.50/Hr

What you’ll do

• All optical lab technicians are trained in the essential job functions in their primary department, including Surface, AR, and Finishing. These will include:
• Calibrations and operations of all equipment.
• Effectively identify and address work flow and quality issues.
• Following standard operating procedures.
• Technicians will also have the opportunity to be trained in the essential job functions in other departments to meet business and individual growth needs
