Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with process development, equipment selection, and tooling design.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools like JMP or Minitab.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for optical component production.
• Analyze existing processes to identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and test procedures.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, Design Engineering, and Quality to ensure manufacturability and smooth transitions from development to production.
• Perform SPC and data analysis to monitor process performance and drive improvements.
• Evaluate and qualify new materials and components for manufacturing applications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
