Warby Parker in Louisville, KY is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and deliver exceptional eyewear experiences. You will coach Opticians, consult customers on fittings and prescriptions, and uphold our high standards on-floor.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years in a management role, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Expect a dynamic store environment with strong teamwork and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• 2+ years in a management role leading a team of opticians.

Responsibilities

• Optical duties: Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy; ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests; explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
• Leadership responsibilities: Manage a team of Opticians, provide feedback, conduct development conversations, uphold service standards, oversee staffing and Apprentice Program, support store systems and operations.
