Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in fiber design and measurements.
• Strong knowledge of optical fiber design, passive fiber connectivity, silicon photonics, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with optical simulation tools (RSoft, COMSOL, Lumerical, MATLAB, Python).

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluation and measurements of multifiber arrangements.
• Design fiber coupling simulations and optimize refractive index profiles.
• Characterize fibers by attenuation, bandwidth, and dispersion measurements.
• Support cost–performance optimization and supplier interactions.
• Prepare fiber measurements and fiber assemblies.
• Collaborate with systems engineering and optical packaging teams.
