Qualifications

• BS in Optical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• Typically 3–5 years hands-on optical engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of optics fundamentals and first-principles reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, build, integrate, optimize, and transfer advanced optical systems.
• Support prototype builds, alignment, and component qualification; document methods and results.
• Troubleshoot performance, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yield and robustness.
