Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

Optical Engineers are core to KLA's technology. Although we do not currently have an opening, we are always building our Optical Engineering talent community and are interested in learning about your background.

Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot and refine optics modules and manufacturing processes for complex deep-UV imaging systems.
  2. Develop and maintain procedures, test fixtures, specifications, and train manufacturing, service, suppliers, and other engineers on optics build, alignment, and test processes.
  3. Solid understanding of optics theory, especially imaging systems.
  4. Experience with design software (CodeV, Zemax) and practical experience with statistical analysis is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 0 years related work experience; or Master's Degree with 3 years related experience; or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years related experience.

MS or PhD in Optical Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range: $103,000 - $175,100.00

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas
