Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Optical Engineer to support NSWC Crane, Indiana. The role focuses on evaluating prototype EO/IR hardware including CDC, MWIR, LRF, SWIR, LWIR and other sensor technologies.

You will perform benchtop tests, data collection and analysis, generate test reports, and assist environmental qualification testing at both system and component levels, coordinating with technical teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, or related field.

Support initial capability evaluations including benchtop testing, laser evaluation, data collection and analysis. Generate test reports.* Support environmental qualification testing activities of prototype EO/IR hardware, including documentation of test plan requirements and test configurations.
