Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in optics, optical engineering, or applied physics (MS preferred).
• Experience designing, building, or testing optical systems in industry or labs.
• Familiarity with Zemax and CAD tools like Inventor or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test optical sub-systems across the development lifecycle.
• Laboratory work: assembly, alignment, cleaning, and characterization; contribute to docs and reviews.
• Coordinate with R&D/science teams to translate advances into products.
• Support on-site and off-site installations as needed.
