Job summary

A leading technology company in Austin is looking for an Optical DSP Chief Architect to define and optimize DSP architectures for advanced optical communication systems. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in DSP algorithm development, strong expertise in digital signal processing, and a master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary of $200,000 to $250,000 and equity options.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in DSP algorithm development and system architecture for optical communications.
• Expertise in digital signal processing and error correction codes.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Define the system architecture for high-speed optical DSP chips.
• Develop and refine DSP algorithms for error correction and signal optimization.
• Perform system-level modeling and simulations to validate algorithms.
