Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable in Coppell, TX, is seeking a warehouse operator to pull, cut, stripe/dye or twist material and to follow SOPs. You will scrap material, breakdown reels, and complete rundowns after orders with proper documentation.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and power tools, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding a culture of Zero Harm while communicating effectively with internal and external teams. Must lift up to 100 lbs and pass background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in order fulfillment, machine operation or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills in a fast paced environment.
• Must exhibit urgency with a commitment to superior service levels.
• Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented.
• Takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Pull, cut, stripe/dye or twist material.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Scrap material; breakdown unusable reels.
• Complete rundowns after orders; proper documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse; zero harm culture.
• Operate all warehouse machinery and tools (forklift, re-spooler, dye and stripe machine, pallet jacks, cutters, power tools).
• Assist where and when needed.
