Overview:
This full-time Other Personal Services (OPS) position is based out of the FWC’s Conservation Engagement and Education’s Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network. The FWC is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, outcome-oriented individual to work as the facility representativeof the program team at the Joe Budd Youth Conservation Center in Midway, just outside Tallahassee. The incumbent will independently ensure the facility premises and equipment are clean, well kept, and in good repair. Interested individuals must be passionate about getting youth outside to create the next generation that cares about fish and wildlife resources.

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.
Monitor and maintain facilities, property, and equipment for proactive maintenance needs; conduct monthly assessments of maintenance needs; perform repairs as needed to ensure everything is clean and in good working order.
