Job summary

Arch is a fast-growing fintech company focused on automating private investments data for banks, families, and institutions. The Operations Engineer will build internal tools and pipelines for the Client Operations team in a fast-moving environment, with a strong emphasis on data processing and automation.

Eligibility notes include graduating between December 2026 and August 2027, with start dates early 2027 or Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript or another mainstream programming language.
• Know SQL.
• Quick learner who enjoys partnering with others and solving difficult, ambiguous problems.
• Enjoy writing code to process and understand data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Interested in alternative investments and/or financial services.
• Communicate well and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Developing new features for internal, employee-used web platforms
• Building, refining, maintaining, and monitoring Arch's data acquisition and processing pipelines
• Automating the acquisition and extraction of financial data from many sources
• Applying both traditional data processing methods and generative AI to acquire and structure data
• Reviewing automation outputs to ensure quality and correctness, and tracking and improving Arch's data quality and processing efficiency
• Overseeing execution and maintenance of a suite of scripts and other internal tooling that supports core business functions
• Assisting with debugging, investigation, and troubleshooting errors
