The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Enterprise Systems Integration Engineer - Missile Warning, Tracking, Defense to influence acquisition of next gen OPIR systems. Responsibilities include evaluating architectures and integrating ground, space, and enterprise capabilities.

The role requires a Secret clearance with ability for TS/SCI; 12+ years of multi-disciplinary systems engineering and a STEM degree are required. Occasional domestic travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.
• Twelve or more years of engineering experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or ground systems.
• Applied disciplined system integration methods to resolve technical disconnects between ground and space segments.
• Experience delivering ground development technical support for integrating, testing, and transitioning space assets to ground systems.
• Defined critical system integration decision points and milestones to transition from development to operations.
• Knowledge of digital engineering models and simulations at the system level.

Responsibilities

• Provide government with space-to-ground system integration expertise for SN OPIR Programs.
• Identify and resolve architectural gaps between segments and mission areas.
• Conduct program status evaluations and risk assessments for leadership and actions.
• Collaborate with government, SETA, SE&I to ensure system performance for ground and space programs.
• Develop mission integration plans and roadmaps for multi-segment missile warning delivery and ops transition.
