Job summary

Crossroads Turning Points (CTP) in Lamar, CO is seeking a detail‑oriented patient care assistant to support MAT and other clinical programs, including urinalysis monitoring and dispensing‑hour service.

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with CAT certification within 18 months, basic computer skills, and prior medical office experience. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a high school degree or GED.
• Current CAT or ability to obtain CAT within 18 months of hire date is required.
• Previous medical/clinical office experience.
• Must have a valid drivers license and insurance.
• CPR and first-aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by agency).
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and records patient urinalysis to ensure the integrity of the patient's urine sample.
• Provides customer service and monitoring during dispensing hours.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and immediately reports any potential hazards to supervisors.
• Demonstrates professionalism and respect for the patients while maintaining patients' dignity and confidentiality.
• Provides medication monitoring of pre-poured doses for patients when the dispensing nurse takes scheduled leave. Ensures logs and documentation are completed according to operating policy and label instructions.

This position provides customer service and urinalysis monitoring for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and other clinical programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
