Job summary

The Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician/Assistant at MSPCA-Angell Boston works with the ophthalmology team to provide clinical and client service, performing technical support in exam rooms, assisting with outpatient and inpatient procedures, and helping with anesthesia as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of veterinary technician/assistant experience in a clinical setting.
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) required to be hired as a technician.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in examination rooms and assist with outpatient and inpatient procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia procedures and communicate with clients and referring veterinarians.
