The candidate will collaborate with clinicians and insurance representatives, ensure compliance with coding guidelines, and contribute to timely collections through effective AR activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s preferred in healthcare administration/finance.
• Minimum of 3 years eyecare experience with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chart audits to ensure accurate documentation and coding.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims; verify demographics and authorizations.
• Respond to insurance audit requests and provide documentation.
• Monitor AR, analyze denials, and assist with appeals.
• Develop and deliver training on coding and documentation; stay updated on guidelines.
