The candidate will provide direct patient care, clinical instruction to students and residents, and participate in interdisciplinary practice with other educational professionals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DO or MD from an accredited institution.
• Must have completed an Ophthalmology residency.
• Eligible for Illinois medical license.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop lectures and laboratories in ophthalmology and surgical techniques.
• Precept students on clinical rotation at the Midwestern University Eye Institute—Downers.
• Engage in service and leadership roles at state, regional, and national organizations.
• Participate in College and University committees and service activities.
• Engage in scholarly activity including research and publications.
