Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Clinical Scientist, Ophthalmology to provide scientific support for ophthalmology studies, operationalize validation plans, and participate in CRF design and study start-up. You will lead cross-functional collaboration and contribute to study design, data review, and regulatory submissions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in ophthalmology clinical trials, strong data analysis skills, and a proactive, independent work style, with a commitment to advancing biomarkers

Qualifications

• Master’s required in Biomedical/Life/Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related); PhD/PharmD/MD preferred.
• 3+ years industry experience in clinical research and/or drug development.
• Ophthalmology clinical trial experience.
• Data analysis and data-driven medical review.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific support for ophthalmology studies and validation plans.
• Design and execute ophthalmology clinical studies; support CRD decisions.
• Review data listings and CRF design; coordinate with Data Management.
• Prepare medical responses for Health Authorities and ethics bodies.
• Support regulatory document filing and archiving.
