Job summary

Rovia Clinical Research in Anniston, AL is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate ophthalmology trials following ICH/GCP and sponsor SOPs. This on-site role partners with site teams to support startup, enrollment, data quality, and overall study success.

You will perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection and processing, and phlebotomy as applicable. Must hold RN or LPN licensure and a high school diploma; research experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current RN or LPN licensure required.
• Research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient visits according to study protocols.
• Performs clinical tasks (vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection) as applicable.
• Ensures informed consent is properly obtained and documented.
• Educates and guides participants through the study and ensures a positive patient experience.
• Monitors subject safety, reports adverse events, and escalates concerns as needed.
• Completes source documentation and EDC data entry.
• Maintains investigational product accountability and storage.
• Prepares for and supports monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Collaborates with site staff and investigators to ensure protocol adherence and efficient visit flow.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
