Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in medicine and Texas licensure.
  • Completion of a Uveitis fellowship.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Board certification or eligibility with the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

  • Join the established Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare, Central Texas.
  • Engage in clinic, procedures, and laser services with a busy schedule M-F.
  • Possible bi-weekly time at a satellite clinic within 22 miles.
  • Option to perform cataract surgery; not mandatory.
  • Participate in education with residency programs and medical students.
  • Provide ophthalmology care in a well-supported academic environment.

Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a BC/BE Ophthalmologist to join an established Ophthalmology practice in Temple, Texas.

Position Highlights
  • Join the established Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare, Central Texas
  • Team includes: 13 Ophthalmologists / 6 Optometrists
  • Busy schedules Monday-Friday; dedicated time for clinic, procedures, and laser
  • Possible bi-weekly time at satellite clinic (22 mile distance)
  • Option to perform cataract surgery available but not mandatory
  • Call: 4 weeks per year
  • Employed position with a comprehensive benefit package
  • Epic EMR system with Kaleidoscope for Eyes; Zeiss Forum for image management
  • Participate in education with a well-established Ophthalmology Residency Program as well as medical students through Baylor College of Medicine
