Job description

The Department of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Responsibilities include teaching and clinical patient care. In addition to a record of clinical excellence, the ideal candidate should have an interest in Retina clinical and translational research and an overall commitment to our academic mission..

Qualified candidates will have graduated from a fully-accredited ophthalmology residency training program, completed subspecialty fellowship training in Retina, be board certified/eligible and be able to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois. Salary and rank will be based on experience and credentials.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $336,339 - $488,334.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
