Job summary

UPMC Kane in Kane, PA, seeks a dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our team as the sole Ophthalmologist at the facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality eye care, diagnose, treat, and manage disorders and diseases of the eyes with autonomy, supported by a skilled healthcare team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Ophthalmology residency program.
• American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials.
• DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage disorders and diseases of the eyes as the sole Ophthalmologist at UPMC Kane.
• Provide high-quality eye care to patients in a rural community and build the service line with autonomy.

Education
