Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a charming city in Illinois to recruit an ophthalmologist for a hospital-employed, physician-friendly practice. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with half-day Fridays, a high-volume clinic seeing 40–50 patients daily, and about 500 cataract surgeries per year.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist.
• Experience in high-volume ophthalmology practice.
• Proficient in cataract surgery; willing to develop subspecialty focus.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 500 cataract surgeries performed annually.
