Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of relevant ophthalmic experience is required.
• Current Ophthalmic Technician Certification is preferred; additional certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine vision screening.
• Administers eye medications.
• Cleans ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
• Prepares and maintains treatment rooms.
• Performs related duties as required; these are essential functions under the ADA.
