Starting pay: $20 to $25 per hour (based on experience).

Team members may earn up to an additional $7 per hour through certifications, continuing education, and demonstrated performance.

What You’ll Do
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide real-time physician scribing during retina clinic visits.
  • Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures in Nextech MDI.
  • Document retina-specific clinical findings and treatment plans.
  • Maintain documentation accuracy while keeping pace with physician workflow.
  • Anticipate physician preferences and charting needs with minimal direction.
Secondary Clinical Responsibilities
  • Perform patient workups including visual acuity, medical and medication history, intraocular pressure testing, review of systems.
  • Perform OCT imaging and other diagnostic testing as needed.
  • Assist with intravitreal injections and in-office procedures.
  • Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient care.
  • Support efficient clinic flow and an exceptional patient experience.
What We’re Looking For
Required
  • Minimum 2 years of ophthalmology experience.
  • Proven ophthalmic scribing experience (general medical scribing will not be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology.
  • Ability to type 50+ WPM with high accuracy.
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented.
Preferred
  • Retina experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Nextech MDI.
  • Experience with OCT imaging.
