Responsibilities

• Test and record patient acuity, peripheral vision, depth and color perception.
• Apply drops and prepare the patient and room for procedures.
• Assist ophthalmologist during procedures as needed.
• Triages emergency cases and maintains patient flow.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Maintain infection control and patient confidentiality.
