New Optical Practice seeking full‑time Ophthalmic Tech to assist with both in‑person and telehealth eye exams. Previous refraction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with patient regarding eye health
• Performing pre‑testing on patients including autorefractor, fundus photos, and visual field
• Upload pre‑testing images to computer system
• Refract patient to get eyeglass prescription
• Using telehealth system to have doctor come on screen (very simple)
• Explain preliminary results to patient (deep knowledge of eye not required but a plus)
