Job summary

Midwest Vision Partners seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to greet patients, explain visits, escort them to exam rooms, and perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and lensometry prior to physician assessment.

You will document findings in the EMR, maintain patient records under HIPAA, assist with minor procedures and injections, and support the team in a fast-paced Midwest clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain what to expect during their visit.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and perform diagnostic tests (visual acuity, tonometry, lensometry).
• Document chief complaints and medical history in EMR; maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
