Job Description

Duties

Perform ophthalmic patient exams, including checking patients visual acuity, intraocular pressure, refractions and diagnostic testing.

Assist with patient intake by recording medical history, updating EHR while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies

Support ophthalmologists during examinations by preparing patients, managing clinical supplies, and ensuring a sterile environment through proper aseptic techniques

Manage electronic health record, ensuring all patient data is accurately documented, organized, and securely stored following medical record protocols

Provid exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, answering questions professionally and ensuring comfortable experience during all ophthalmic examinations
