Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support our Huntington clinic. In this full-time role you’ll perform pre-exam duties, collect patient information, run routine tests, and assist physicians during procedures.

You’ll work closely with a patient-focused team in a nationally recognized network, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match, and generous PTO.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking Ophthalmic Technicians to support our doctors and ensure a smooth patient experience. You’ll handle pre-exam work, gather patient info, perform routine tests, and assist with procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Record vision, depth, color, and peripheral tests
• Apply eye drops, collect/process specimens
• Triage emergencies and manage patient flow
• Prep rooms and assist doctors during procedures
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols

What You’ll Bring

• Friendly, patient-focused attitude

• Knowledge of ocular pharmacology (a plus, not required)
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
