Job summary

Tri-Century Eye Care is seeking an ophthalmic technician to support our fast-paced ophthalmology practice in Southampton and New Britain, PA. You will perform vision testing, diagnostic procedures, and educate patients while working across two office locations.

The role requires 1+ year healthcare or customer service experience, with ophthalmology exposure preferred. Training is offered, along with benefits and opportunities for growth in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in healthcare or customer service.
• Ophthalmology experience preferred; will train the right candidate.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• High school diploma required.
• Experience with ophthalmic diagnostics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with vision assessments, diagnostic testing, and minor procedures.
• Perform OCTs, visual fields, tonometry, refractions, and more.
• Administer topical medications and educate patients on eye health.

What You’ll Do

• Assist doctors with vision assessments, diagnostic testing, and minor procedures

• Administer topical medications and educate patients on eye health
• Maintain ophthalmic instruments and update EHR records
• Travel between two office locations as needed
