Job summary

Ascension's AMG Anderson Ophthalmology department in Anderson, IN is seeking a dedicated ophthalmology technician to join a full-time daytime schedule.

You will prepare examination and treatment rooms, obtain patient history, perform basic vision screening, administer eye medications and assist with minor procedures, while maintaining instruments and records. A supportive team and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.

  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms.
  • Obtain patient history, performs basic and routine vision screening examinations, administer eye medications and assist with minor office procedures.
  • Review the appointment schedule, complete forms, and process records.
  • Clean and maintain ophthalmic instruments.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
