Job summary

Luxottica, a global leader in eyewear design, manufacture and distribution, seeks an Associate Technician to support the production department in meeting productivity and quality standards at our St. Louis facility.

You will calibrate and set up equipment, identify quality issues, train and mentor Associates, and communicate with Supervisors. Maintain a clean, safe work area, enforce safety rules, and contribute to process improvements daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and motivates others to follow work instructions.
• Completes equipment calibration and setup and reports maintenance issues.
• Identifies quality, process and workflow problems and informs supervisor.
• Participates in the training of Associates and mentors new hires.
• Communicates with Supervisor and supports team meetings and focus groups.
• Maintains a positive attitude, treats colleagues with respect and reports concerns.
• Supports management decisions and assists Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Keeps a clean, safe work area and notifies about safety issues.
• Follows safety requirements and adheres to company policies.
