California Eye Surgeons in Gilroy/San Jose seeks a Medical Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician to join our fast-paced ophthalmology team. You’ll support physicians, perform work-ups, visual acuities, IOP testing, OCTs, and assist with minor in-office procedures while providing pre- and post-op care.

Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with a patient-focused approach; prior medical practice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical practice required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsabilités

• Patient Care: conduct work-ups, visual acuities, IOP testing and auto refractions.
• Advanced Diagnostics: operate OCTs, Visual Fields and Fundus imaging.
• Surgical Support: assist with in-office minor procedures and pre-/post-op care.
• Front Desk Support: assist team as needed to ensure smooth patient flow.
