Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s Minnesota facility is seeking an Associate Technician to support the production team, meet productivity and quality standards, and help maintain a safe, organized work area.

The role emphasizes following work instructions, calibrating equipment, identifying issues, and training/mentoring associates, with strong communication and teamwork valued in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize, maintain organization and meet strict deadlines.
• Reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and motivates others to follow the work instructions.
• Completes equipment calibration and setup; communicates maintenance issues to Supervisor.
• Identifies quality, process, and workflow problems and informs Supervisor of issues.
• Participates in training of Associates; mentors new hires and cross-trains associates.
• Communicates with Supervisor; participates in team meetings and focus groups.
