Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in ophthalmic surgeries at Lakeside Surgery Center. You will assess patients, develop individualized anesthetic plans, and monitor from pre-op through recovery in a team-focused environment.

The role requires Florida CRNA licensure, a relevant master’s or DNP, NBCRNA certification, and ACLS/BLS credentials, with experience in ambulatory ophthalmology settings preferred.

Qualifications

• State of Florida, current and unrestricted CRNA license.
• Master’s or Doctor of Nursing Practice in nurse anesthesia.
• Certification as CRNA by NBCRNA.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in ambulatory surgery care center, preferably ophthalmology.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during ophthalmic surgical procedures.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments to determine anesthesia plan.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust dosages as needed.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring.
• Maintain accurate patient records of anesthesia procedures.
